REDHAND PICTURES directors Mikai Geronimo & Josh O'Caoimh travelled to Osaka, Japan this week where their film 'FALL OF THE IBIS KING' is representing Ireland as part of EU Film Days at EXPO 2025.
FALL OF THE IBIS KING is screening alongside other European animated shorts each day at the European Pavilion, and at the Umeda Theater in downtown Osaka on Monday — where the directors will be in attendance for a Q&A session.

Following the screenings this week at Expo 2025 in Osaka, the film will participate in EU Film Day in cities across Japan including Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Kyoto.
FALL OF THE IBIS KING screened alongside JAM Media 's film The Wiremen, directed by Jessica Patterson and produced by Richard Gordon. Cartoon Saloon 's Oona was also in attendance...

Thank you to the Department of Foreign Affairs for their support in making it possible to attend the Expo, to the selection committee, and the Irish pavilion staff.
